Question by Emman: Move quote: “I’m so alone”.?
Since every single question, however odd, seems to be answered here on Yahoo! Answers, I’d like to ask: does ANYONE know what film I’m talking about here? A woman (or man?) says “I’m so alone…” in an incredibly poignant way; even thinking about it touches my soul. However, I can’t remember the film/context/character(s), or anything else. Can anyone help? My humble guess is: NOT!

Marlene Dietrich? Or was she the one who said, “I want to be alone.” Hmmm…

I remember that line from Pump Up the Volume. A kid, Malcolm, is on the phone with Christian Slater’s character. When Happy Harry (Slater) asks him why he wants to kill himself, he says, “I’m so alone.”
